Guys, LOOK! Aren't you proud of me?!  This is my third blog post in one week! I am really on a roll, and don't stop me now cause this trains a comin'!  Today was an altogether beautiful day. I got about 5 hours of sleep after watching Parenthood with my cousin last night into the wee hours of the morning, woke up to fresh, homemade pancakes from my mom, then went to my little brochacho's basketball game! I then proceeded to practice speech with my team-mates and friends then went shopping until this evening.  Eventful day indeed!


But.. I'm not entirely sure why I just told you the contents of my Saturday because it really has absolutely nothing to do with this post.

Today I am putting up the first of (hopefully) many drawings that I've done/will do.

This is a drawing of a girl I saw in my Nylon magazine. I was really intrigued by the way her hair was all brushed to the side and her head was tilted. It stood out to me and seemed to shout for attention. It was only an illustration for some type of face cream, but honestly, it said much more than that.

I loved, loved this project.

 I hope you love, love it too. 

Also. I'm wearing a shirt from the men's section of Pacsun.

 It's the cheese. 

If I had a boyfriend I'd buy him clothes from that wonderful place... just sayin. 

It's also freezing in this room and I'm not sure why.

So I'm going to go sit by the fire and cuddle with Lucy (my new pup <post to come).

Coleman A

This summer I got the wonderful opportunity to shoot my beloved cousin, Coleman August. This was a shoot centered around fun and non-serioiusness. Coleman, being the lighthearted soul that he is, did not want all his senior pictures to be quite-so-serious, but paying money for a professional photographer and spending the whole time goofing off doesn't really make sense. So this is where I come in! A photographer(lol...ish) who has time to spare. This was a blast of a day and I enjoyed every random thing we tried. Cousins are cool.

New Year.

        I think that every time I post something it starts with, "So I know it's been a long time since my last post.." but here I am again begging for your forgiveness.  Life has yet again been crazy, busy, and full of time consuming endeavors, and on top of that our little dinky Dell computer finally went to the grave.  So, we have been a little technology, handicapped for a long time, but Christmas came along and my wonderful father got the family the new iMac for Christmas!  I'm hoping that this beaut' of a computer will aide in the posting on this blog! I definitely will try to update more.

New Years resolution maybe?

Well that's all besides the point...

        I've recently (as in approximately 3 minutes ago) decided to turn this site into my creative head-quarters.

        I know, I know.. You're probably thinking "Ummmm, wasn't that what it already was?" and my answer to that question is yes, yes it was... but I will be expanding.  I'm hoping to put up some of my drawings and paintings and maybe some musical shenanigans if that's not too socially unacceptable for me to be doing.... So now I come to you, on my knees asking for your love and support.
